DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 7" wall hanging clock, spring driven 8 day timepiece movement with maintaining power in a walnut case.
CONDITION: The case is in excellent condition and retains its original finish. The original painted dial is in excellent condition. The hands are original. The movement is signed. The door glasses are original. The brass dial, bezel, weight and pendulum bob are original. The case back shows a factory date of June, 1912. The is an excellent example of one of the more scarce Seth Thomas regulators. We have had only two in the past 10 years.

DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Jupiter" hanging clock with a weight driven 8 day time and strike (cathedral bell) lyre movement with a moon phase dial in an open well oak case.
CONDITION: The case is in very good condition with a light, old finish, possibly original. There are several small areas of loss along the top right and left return molding. The original painted dial is in good condition with some fading and paint loss at the mounting holes. The original painted moon phase dial is in nice condition with age. The hands are original with a repair to the minute hand. The reeded brass weights are original. This is a scarce Seth Thomas model in very good condition. We have had only 2 sales of this model in the past 12 years.

CONDITION: the case retains its original finish with beveled lower glass. The hands are replaced. The pendulum and weight are original. The silvered dial has no Seth Thomas signature, but is correct and original. This is a nice example of a rare model Seth Thomas, the first we have sold in over 20 years.

CONDITION: The case has a very soft lustre finish which may be original. The case bottom is replaced as the veneer differs from that of the rest of the case. The painted dial appears to be original although there are several extra screw holes in the dial mounting board. Both door glasses are original with the lower gilt and black design showing some loss. The hour and minute hands are original. The seconds hand may be replaced.

DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn. for Jarvis Universal Clock Co., Chicago, Illinois, "Jarvis World Clock", 30 day, time only, twin spring movement in an oak case with 19 inch 24 hour dial showing time of day for points around the globe.
CONDITION: Case has an original finish which has darkened. Patriotic decals on front corners of the case have faded, but the Jarvis trademark in the center is still easy to read. The multi-part dials are paper over metal. The rear dial has yellowed and has some staining along the right edge. The shaded portion on the bottom half of the dial to indicate night has faded. The inner dial is in good condition. A crude paper cover hides the two apertures in the dial which once displayed the day of the week dial which is now absent. Paper instructions for installing and regulating the clock are pasted below the dial. The door glass is old. The signed twin spring Seth Thomas movement has its stopworks and supplementary bevel gears with drop shafts to facilitate winding from the bottom of the closed case. The Jarvis World Clock was mentioned in the introduction to a book they published titled "The Story of Time" by Albert B. Olsten, published in 1915. The model is identical to the "Square Gallery" shown in Ly's Seth Thomas book.

CONDITION: The clock is in excellent condition with very minor chipping along the edge of the marble dial. The numerals and dots are all bronze finished. The marble dial is 7/8" thick. The movement is signed.

The crenellated parapet top has some merlons missing on the left side and one on the right. Brass cased weights appear original.

CONDITION: The case retains its original finish with a few scratches and a small loss of veneer on the upper bezel ring. Full label inside door. Painted metal dials appear to be original with some yellowing on the edges and paint loss around mounting screws. The upper dial has been touched up a little around the winder arbor hole. Paper calendar rollers look old and may be original. Hands are original. Signed Seth Thomas movement has its stopworks intact. The upper glass is wavy, while the lower one is not. Spade hands and brass clad pendulum are all old and probably original.

CONDITION: Rubbed down oak case with some small veneer repairs and lifting veneer on the base. Original painted dial is in very good condition with just the smallest amount of chipping around the mounting screws. Hands, pendulum, and weight are original. Lacquer protecting the brass weight has started to turn brown. Remains of original label in the bottom of the case. Swinging part of the bezel latch is missing, but easily replaced. The rectangular movement is signed.

DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Santa Fe" city series mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement in a carved walnut case with applied metal leaf decorations.
CONDITION: The case is in good condition with a remnants of original finish left over from the start of a refinishing job. Sides of crest have been glued back together. Veneer is lifting from the top of the case. The paper dial is replaced. The veneered dial mask has a pressboard substrate. The Seth Thomas lyre movement is signed and is has had some of the stopworks removed. Glass is original. The gong is a replacement. The nickel pendulum bob is nicely damascened. Decent black paper label inside the case. We sold this same model in our April 2018 sale for $1400.
