Boston, Mass., "No. 69" style marine clock, round brass case with mounting flange, 8.5 inch Roman numeral brass dial, blued steel moon hands, signed, 8 day nickel damascened movement, serial #2117, dial #3083 NG, case #3083
CONDITION: the dial has lost all its silvering. The movement is in excellent condition and ticks. The case has some minor nicks, scrapes and scratches as well as some minor staining. Includes bench made base.

DESCRIPTION: E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 59-8 Regulator" wall clock, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement in a mahogany case with maple backboard and a black painted iron dial with gold numerals and hands
CONDITION: the case has been refinished. The dial has been repainted and the bezel is split. The finial holes have been plugged and the finials are now attache with screws. The upper two outer finials and lower finials are replacements. The weight is original.

DESCRIPTION: E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 70 Regulator, 14-Inch Dial" wall clock, 8 day, time only, weight driven wall clock in an oak case with painted metal dial and reverse painted lower tablet
CONDITION: the case retains its original finish. The dial has been cleaned and retains its original paint. The lower glass tablet has been repainted. The weight and pendulum are original. This is a very clean example of the harder to find 14" dial model.

DESCRIPTION: E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 70 Regulator- 16 "- 16" dial wall clock, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement in a walnut case with painted metal dial and reverse painted lower tablet
CONDITION: the case retains its original finish with minor blemishes. The lower tablet has been repainted. The dial paint is original and in good condition with minor repair. The damascened pendulum bob and "70" stamped weight are original. The suspension spring will need to be reattached but is present. This is an attractive example.

DESCRIPTION: E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No 11, Keyhole", 8 day, weight driven brass movement wall timepiece.
CONDITION: Cherry case has lost much of its original rosewood graining and now has a dark finish. Case is stamped "E" and "7 ". Original painted dial has one small chip in the center, small loss at the winding arbor and at the mounting screws. The proper style tablet was painted by Tom Moberg. The original tablet is included separately. Original hands, pendulum and weight.

CONDITION: Cherry case retains much of the original rosewood graining under the finish. Original painted dial has scattered loss. Original hands and pendulum. The baffle board is cracked and will need repair. Bottom tablet looks replaced.

DESCRIPTION: E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "Regulator No. 10", 8 day, weight brass movement figure eight wall timepiece.
CONDITION: Refinished walnut case has a tiny ding at a seam of one of the round top segments and some slight misalignment of a couple of the door segments surrounding the dial where they were reglued and not aligned properly. Original painted dial has some loss at the winding arbor and the mounting screws. The clock has a nicely made weight baffle. Original pendulum and hands.

DESCRIPTION: E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "Regulator No. 5", Banjo, 8 day, weight brass movement rosewood grained case wall timepiece. Case is stamped "25 ".
CONDITION: Cherry case retains its rosewood graining under an original finish. This is an early example as it has its original paper dial that is showing its age with loss at the mounting screws and scattered surface abrasion. Original hands. Original throat glass has some loss to the gold striping. Original bottom tablet glass looks to have been restored in place. Movement is signed. Weight may be replaced as it is marked no. 5.

CONDITION: Rosewood grained cherry case in nice condition in original finish. Original dial has loss and lifting paint. Original hands and pendulum. Weight baffle looks replaced. Pendulum hold down is replaced. Movement is signed. Throat tablet has been restored. Original bottom tablet has some restoration.

DESCRIPTION: E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "Regulator No. 70" 8 day, weight brass movement wall timepiece. This example once resided in a firehouse as evidenced by the label attached on the bottom that reads "City of Boston, Fire-a-90 "
CONDITION: Oak case in original finish is showing its age with surface abrasions, wear to the finish and dark spots from years hanging on a fire station wall. Original painted dial has light surface scratches around the chapter ring and some loss at the mounting screws. Original hands, pendulum, tablet and weight. Case is stamped "19 ". Pendulum marked "28" which may be date of manufacture as it has a steel plate movement used by the firm about that time.

CONDITION: Refinished walnut case has some damage to the bottom bracket most likely caused by the weight cord breaking. The bracket has repaired cracks to the molding and nail holes. Original pendulum, Weight and hands. Weight baffle is a replacement.
