Condition Report For Lot# 686 :
these are in good original condition. The French movement is ready for restoration and use in an appropriate case, needing a pendulum. The carriage clock has an old somewhat darkened patina, its glasses are good except for minor edge chips on the back door, the cylinder escapement ticks, and the porcelain dial has a few faint hairlines. The 1905 Chelsea, a harder-to-find small model, has a tarnished silvered dial, nice old patina on the heavy brass case, hinged bezel, threaded movement retaining ring, and briskly ticking balance wheel. Chelsea is 6" high, carriage clock 5 1/2" to top of raised handle, French movement's bezel outer diameter is 5 1/4" fitting approximately 5" hole in a case front. The short drop Seth Thomas school house clock is in original untouched condition with flaking to dial and lower tablet. Ht 24"
