CASE: Shows extra case screw marks; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Engraving with minor wear; Minor scratches on crystal; Bow with wear; Crown replaced; Stem screw replaced. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, light, 12:00, 5:00. 8:00, dial center; Scratches minor to dial. HANDS: Abraded, minor oxidation, blue gone. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine scratches on plate; A few small spots of corrosion; Regulator assembly with specks of oxide; Screws with a few specks of oxide; Barrel bridge jewel cracked; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). NOTE: Dr. Frank Mortimer Gier (1859-1918) was trained at the University of Michigan Medical School, graduating in 1884. He was an allopath and had a practice at Hillsdale, Michigan until his death there Mar. 28, 1918 of uremia age 59.
