Condition Report For Lot# 964 :
these small clocks were introduced at the Hyde Park, London Exhibition of 1851. This one originally held a single bell for the alarm, and that was later replaced by a mini Swiss pull wind music movement of very good quality, with pins intact and playing nicely. The wire that was added to the original alarm lever on the right side of the clock is kinked and does not reliably actuate the music, but it can be actuated manually. No dome. Pendulum a replacement. Ht of clock on base = 9"
