Condition Report For Lot# 175 :
CASE: Very fine scratches on outer surface of case; Very fine scratches on inner surface of case ; Crown worn. DIAL: Hairline in enamel, very light, at dial center, starting at 50 second mark. HANDS: Minor oxide, tip of minute. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Crown wheel has speck of oxide; regulator with a few specks of oxide. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). Frank Henry Locke was born Sep. 13, 1864 at Watertown, MA. He lived most of his married life at Lexington, MA until the 1930's. There he was a salesman, bookkeeper and later owner of a plumbing supply firm. The New England Sanitary Club was composed of jobbers of plumbing supplies. It was active as early as 1907 until at least 1919.
