MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Scratch due to screwdriver slip emanating from screw slot; Winding wheels have spots of oxidation. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks); Balance rim bent. RARITY: This is a two star watch in Gilbert, Engle and Shugart's `Complete Price Guide to Watches`, uncommon, less than 1000 made. This watch has a plug in the train bridge marked 21, indicating a changed jewel count - the NAWCC Waltham database shows this as a 23 jewel watch, but it was changed to 21 prior to leaving the factory.
