American tall clock, unsigned, 8 day with rolling moon, the last repair label from 1883, Philadelphia. Mov't with well shaped plates along the top and cut out at bottom to conserve brass. The informal country case of mixed woods retains large cast door hinges and a deep broken arch, c1825

French tall case clock in Art Nouveau style, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement in walnut case with floral carvings and stamped on the back board "J. FRANCOIS" with address. Thomas Wagstaffe, London, 8 day time and strike with calendar composite brass 12" dial tall clock. Wagstaffe was a Quaker who frequently supplied movements to his fellow American Quakers who had them cased in Philadelphia or Newport, movement c1770, case probably c1810.
