DESCRIPTION: Rolex Watch Co., Switzerland, a man's gold "Datejust" wristwatch, ref. 16018, 27 jewels, automatic winding, adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, calibre 3035 nickel plate movement with lever escapement and free sprung, monometallic balance in an 18 karat, yellow gold case with Jubilee bracelet, champagne dial with diamond set markers and luminous, gold baton hands, serial #9573608 (case), 1662560 (movement), 35mm, 139.1g TW, c1987, with original boxes, tag, and papers.
CONDITION: CASE: Minor marks and scratches; Bracelet with minor marks and scratches; Bracelet tight; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Minor mark above center. HANDS: Minor bend, hour. MOVEMENT PLATES: Very good. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks), would benefit from service. Outer box with wear and minor losses. Tag and inner box good. Sleeve containing paperwork with tears, guarantee and booklets good. This watch was well cared for, and shows wear consistent with its age. The case appears to be unpolished, and also appears to retain its original graining on the lugs. A very nice example of this popular model.
