CONDITION: CASE: A few minor dings; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; A few short scratches on front cover; Front with minor gap at band when closed; Bow with wear; Crown worn; Precious metal content marked. CONDITION: CASE: Late 19th century, purpose made for this movement; Small dings and case knife marks; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Minor scratches on inner surface of case; Crystal with fine scratches, flake; Minor glue residue under crystal; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Tiny flake at center arbor, otherwise very good. HANDS: Minute repaired. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Scratches and dings on balance cock foot. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) ; Detent spring repaired, at foot. The case design would indicate that the watch was meant to be housed in a deck watch box, and not to be carried in the pocket.
