DESCRIPTION: Clocks- 3 (Three) Time and Strike: (1) France, crystal regulator, 8 day, time and strike, spring-driven pendule de Paris movement with a visible Brocot escapement in a glazed brass case with white enamel dial with Roman numerals, c1910; (2) E. Ingraham, Bristol, Conn., "Nyanza" banjo clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring-driven movement in a mahogany case with white paper dial and large eagle finial, c1915; (3) Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, CT "Curfew", 8 day, time and strike, spring-driven movement in a black enameled wood case with marbelized sides and prominent bell on top, c1910.
CONDITION: (1) Crystal regulator lacking pendulum; (2) Wood finial replaced by cast metal eagle. Dimensions are for the Nyanza wall clock. Sold "as is".

CONDITION: (1) Cast iron case with Mother-of-Pearl inlay in nice condition in original finish. Original dial has been repainted. Original hands. Clean label inside. (2) Cast iron case with MOP inlay in nice condition in original finish. The case sides have some scratches to the finish, scattered small chips to the finish on the bevel molded base and some wear to the gold decoration on the lower right side.. Original paper dial has some surface wear to the yellowed finish. Original hands. Clean label inside. Movement is signed. (3) Cast iron case with MOP inlay in nice condition in original finish with surface wear in spot on the top and the left side. Original painted dial has some loss on the outer edge and center area. Original hands. Movement is marked: "Morse". These movements were made by Morse & Co. of Plymouth Hollow, Conn., who supplied movements to the trade, c1855. The backboard probably replaced as it is made of oak.

CONDITION: (1) Clock is in very good cosmetic condition. Present dome is too tall. (2) Gilt has worn off of cast spelter on some of the high spots. Small hairline crack in the dial. Good Breguet style steel hands. (3) Case has been regilded. There is a missing element to the left of the figure. Dial and hands are in very good condition. (4) Small chips to the edges of black slate case. Dial, beveled glass, and hands are in good condition.
