DESCRIPTION: Daniel Pratt & Sons, Boston, Mass., 8 day, weight driven, brass movement wall timepiece. Based on the way the pendulum is attached to the rod this timepiece was probably made by George D. Hatch of North Attleboro, Mass., and retailed by Pratt.
CONDITION: Grain painted case in nice condition The bottom door has a couple of shrinkage cracks. The weight baffle is missing. The case bottom has some repaired damage and small piece missing. The tablet glass is original. The original painted dial has some spots of inpainting and loss at the dial edge. Original hands. An example of this timepiece can be found in "Willard's Patent Time Pieces" by Paul J. Foley, page 175.
