DESCRIPTION: Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., "Mark I Deck Clock", 8 day, time only, spring-driven balance wheel movement with subsidiary seconds and rear wind in a black phenolic case with a 5.5 inch black dial reading in part "U.S. Navy / 1942", original wall mounting plate, serial number 392149, dated 1942.
CONDITION: Black phenolic case has a bit of hazy mottling, which is not uncommon. The black dial is in very good condition The luminous paint on the hands and hour markers had turned very dark. The movement ticks briskly.
