DESCRIPTION: France, an unusual gilt bronze and cut glass mantel clock, possibly Baccart, the rectilinear case with egg and dart molded base on cut, flattened ball feet, cyma recta molded cornice, and surmounted by a gilt plinth with acanthus decorated support for the cut glass finial, the case with crosshatched, diamond cutting, Roman numeral white enamel dial with brass bezel, blued steel spade and poker hands, and 8 day, timepiece movement
CONDITION: losses to gilding, minor chips to glass, gilt trim above cornice missing, dial with repairs and now mounted with screws, movement a 20th century replacement, running
