DESCRIPTION: England, double-sided postal clock, 8 day, time only, spring driven fusee movement in an octagonal mahogany case with ogee molded edge, two 12 inch painted white metal dials under glass on opposite sides, both with Roman numerals and the letters "G.P.O." (General Post Office) below the center arbor, spade steel hands.
CONDITION: The case has an original finish that is nice, with a few small scratches and white specks. The case has doors located on the top and bottom. The white painted dials are excellent, as are the wide spade hands. The fusee movement has heavy line instead of a chain on the fusee. The movement ticks briskly.
