DESCRIPTION: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "932", 18 size, 16 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and Goldthwait micrometric regulator in a coin silver, hinged back and bezel, engraved open face case, Roman numeral, outer red 5-minute markers, double sunk white enamel dial, blued steel, pierced tulip hands, serial #7000, c1895.
CONDITION: CASE: Case has housed another movement; Minor dents and dings; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Heavy scratch on bezel; Inside of case back with scratches; Engraving with moderate wear; Crystal loose and with chips; Bow replaced; Crown worn; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Hairline in enamel, light, 10:30. HANDS: Oxidation. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Bright work with minor oxidation; Case screws replaced; Specks of dirt. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) A rare grade, total production 600.
