DESCRIPTION: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "927" for F. A. Robinson & Son, 18 size, 17 jewels, stem wind and lever set, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings and Goldthwait micrometric regulator in an 18 karat, reeded edge, engine turned hunting case, Roman numeral, outer red 5-minute markers, double sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade hands, serial #21817, 174g TW, c1895.
CONDITION: CASE: Case has housed another movement; A few shallow dents; Minor dings; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Center tube of front cover hinge with loss; Front cover hinge loose; File marks on front cover hinge ends and band; Front cover with gap at band when closed; Bow worn and with repair; Crown shell missing; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Cracks in enamel; Chips at center of seconds bit. HANDS: Replaced. MOVEMENT PLATES: Scratches and minor dings; Regulator assembly and scale with specks of oxide; Case screw replaced. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
