DESCRIPTION: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "971", 16 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and set, adjusted, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator in a 14 karat, four color gold, engraved hunting case, and Arabic numeral, double sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade hands, serial #333518, 93.3g TW, c1905.
CONDITION: CASE: Case has housed another movement; Back with minor dent; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Inner surface of case with marks from dent removal; Cuvette with waves; Front cover with professional repair at hinge; Covers with minor gaps at band when closed; Plastic crystal; Crystal loose; Crown replaced, sits high; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, light, partially concealed by bezel, 10:00. HANDS: Good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine scratches and pin pricks on plate; Winding wheels with a few specks of oxide; Bright work with fine scratches; Regulator assembly with a few specks of oxide; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
