Va., 16 size, 17 jewels, stem wind and set, adjusted, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator in a 14 karat, yellow gold, engraved hunting case with monogram on front cover, Arabic numeral, outer red 5-minute markers, double sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade hands, serial #51109, 101.7g TW, c1895.
CONDITION: CASE: Case has housed another movement; Minor dents; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches and case knife marks on cuvette; Crown lacking gold shell; Crystal missing; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Spider hairlines, 1:30; Filled chips in enamel concealed by bezel, 2:00, 11:30. HANDS: Minute with bends and losses to blue. MOVEMENT PLATES: Marks and scratches on plate; Winding wheels and click with minor scratches and specks of oxide; Regulator assembly with specks of oxide; Case screws replaced; Specks of dirt. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks), low balance amplitude, needs service.
