DESCRIPTION: Ball Watch Co., Cleveland, Ohio, Ball- Illinois "Official Standard", 16 size, 23 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, circular damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator in a white gold filled, screw back and bezel, open face Ball Official RR Standard case, arabic numeral, single sunk white enamel dial with blued steel Illinois- Ball hands, serial #B800358, c1930.
CONDITION: CASE: Dings and minor dent, band; Small dent, top of crown; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Minor scratches on inner surface of case. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, light, 5:30, 9:00, 11:00. HANDS: Reblued; Seconds with specks of oxide. MOVEMENT PLATES: Scratches on plate; Winding wheels with a few specks of oxide; Scratches on winding wheels; Pin pricks and shallow gouge, balance cock; Regulator assembly with a few tiny specks of oxide; Screws with marred heads. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
