DESCRIPTION: Ball Watch Co., Cleveland, Ohio, Ball- Waltham "Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen & Engineers", 16 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted, circular damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator in a yellow gold, screw back and bezel open face case with "B. of L. F. & E." insignia on back, and Arabic numeral, single sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade and poker hands, serial #B207169, c1905.
CONDITION: CASE: Dings; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Insignia with minor wear; Gold filled with minor brassing; Bezel surface beneath crystal with scratches; Bow worn; Crown shell worn through. DIAL: Numerous hairlines in enamel; Small chips at edge of seconds bit. HANDS: Replaced. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor marks and scratches on plate; Gouge at barrel bridge case screw; Winding wheels with specks of oxide; Regulator assembly with faint specks of oxide; Fourth wheel jewel setting with minor marring. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
