DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Office Calendar No. 10" hanging clock with a weight driven, 8 day, timepiece movement and a R. T. Andrews patented perpetual calendar mechanism in an oak case with burl walnut accents.
CONDITION: This is the earlier version of the Office Calendar No. 10 with the opening between the time and calendar dials to allow pendulum bob visibility. The oak case is in very good condition and has been refinished. There is a vertical crack at both the top and bottom of the door. One of the two lower finials shows some loss to the tip. The bottom drop finial is missing, There are excellent labels inside the case. The calendar drum papers are original and darkened with age. Both the painted time and calendar dials are in excellent condition with very minimal loss. The hands are all original. The door glass is original.
