DESCRIPTION: Clocks- 3 (Three): (1) Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth Hollow, Conn., "O.G.Top" shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 day, time and strike lyre movement in a darkly stained rosewood veneer case.c1865. (2) Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Cottage Extra" shelf clock with a spring driven time, strike and alarm movement in a rosewood veneer case, c1879. (3) Chauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn., "Union" model shelf clock with a spring driven, 30 hour, time and strike movement in a decorated wood case, c1850.
CONDITION: (1) There are several areas of veneer loss. The dial has been repainted. The hands are original. All glasses are original. (2) The case retains some original finish with very little veneer loss. The painted dial is original with some areas of loss. The hands are original. The door glasses are original. (3) The case retains an original finish and is highly decorated with floral designs. The movement is unsigned. The painted dial is original. The hour hand is original, but the minute hand a replacement.
