DESCRIPTION: M. Low, New York for U.S. Navy, "Mark III, Model 0" sextant, 6.5 inch radius, black metal frames, Navy identification on index arm and rear of index mirror holder, graduated arc reading -5 to125, micrometer drum, shades for horizon and index mirrors, sighting scopes, push-button illumination, and black plastic handle, all in wood box with certificate under the lid dated 1973.
CONDITION: Box has a worn finish, but retains its black plastic identification plaque. Black finish is coming off of frame in spots. Foam inside case is somewhat worn. Mirrors and sun shades look good. Some empty spots in the fitted case.
