DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Parlor Calendar No. 9" shelf clock, 8 day, time, strike on cathedral gong and perpetual calendar, spring driven movement in a walnut case with burl and carved highlights and painted metal dials
CONDITION: the case retains its original finish in very good condition. All the carved elements are intact and present. The dials retain their original paint with flaking at 12 and some fading at 5 and 7. This is an extremely attractive example of a very rare and highly desirable Seth Thomas Office Calendar model.
