DESCRIPTION: W. Ehrhardt, Birmingham, lever fusee pocket watch with wind indicator, 17 jewels, key wind and set gilt half plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold timing screws and double roller in a later, purpose made gold trimmed, sterling silver, hinged back and snap bezel open face case with London hallmark and date letter for the year 1931, and makers mark "F.T. London" for Frederick Thoms, and Roman numeral, single sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade and whip hands, serial #13280, 48mm, c1865 (movement) .
CONDITION: CASE: A few shallow dents, back; Scratches, back; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Crystal with scratches; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Minor scratch. HANDS: Minute with spots of oxide. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine scratches on plate; Regulator with a few specks of oxide; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
