Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "951", 16 size, 23 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted to 5 positions, temperature and isochronism, straight line damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws, gold wheel train and whiplash micrometric regulator in a 14 karat, yellow gold, engraved, faux box hinge hunting case, and Montgomery arabic numeral, double sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade hands, serial #325446, 109.3g TW, c1905, together with a Hamilton velvet lined mahogany box and certificate.
CONDITION: CASE: Case not original to movement; Case screws do not hold movement in case; Dents and dings, box ornament at hinge; Shallow dents, band; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Very fine scratches on inner surface of case; Lever slot widened, original notch in bezel filled; Bow with wear; Crown worn; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, light; Dial center with surface flakes. HANDS: Minor oxide. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches and pin pricks on plate; Minor scratches on winding wheels; Winding wheels with a few specks of oxide; Regulator assembly with a few specks of oxide; Escape and pallet jewel endstone settings marred.
