DESCRIPTION: E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 9 Regulator", walnut "figure eight" style case with turned wooden bezel and lower door, reverse painted glasses in black, red, and gold, signed, Roman numeral painted dial with blued steel moon hands, and 8 day, weight driven timepiece movement
CONDITION: Refinished walnut case has a repair to the case at the bottom hinge and a crack above the same location. There is also a separation and repair at the bottom likely caused by broken cable. Original painted dial has a small spot at 5 o'clock and has age darkened a little outside the chapter ring. Original hands, pendulum and tablets. An E. Howard repair label inside.
