DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Operations Room Plotting Clock" or sector/radio room clock, 8 day, time only, spring-driven, balance wheel movement with center seconds in a black phenolic case with 8 inch polychrome dial that was used by the military, in conjunction with radar and observers, to track the movements of enemy aircraft.
CONDITION: black phenolic case is in good shape, but somewhat mottled. Dial has faded a bit and has many small brown spots. Hands are in good condition Signed movement is stamped 9-44, which is likely a date code for September 1944. Movement ticks briskly when wound.
