Condition Report For Lot# 208 :
A very nicely made mahogany veneered case with some fine age cracks in the crotch mahogany veneered panel. The top dial stud that mounts to the movement has become detached and will need attention. The concave painted dial has a small scratch near 10 o'clock. The right scroll on the crest will also need attention as it looks to have broken in a couple places in the past. The left scroll has also been broken and repaired. The reverse glass is very nice with the maker's name and place. The brass movement may have been made by Mr. Forgie. Mr. Forgie was a well-known collector and author. He co-wrote, with Ed Burt, an NAWCC supplement on Concord Clockmakers in 1967. The clock lacks a weight.
