Condition Report For Lot# 686 :
(1), (2) & (3) all three hardwood cases are in very nice condition with good finishes. Dials, glasses and finials are good. Two have rear paper labels; painted glass tablets on the New Haven are good. Not tested, sold as is. Ht of longest is 18 1/2" (4) the black phenolic shows the usual mottling, but is undamaged and retains the rear mount plate. The black dial is good, with some fading of the luminous hour dots. The rear-wind movement ticks but was not tested long term. Overall diameter is 5" (5) Refinished oak case. The crest above the top molding has been nicely restored with the exception of the wrong choice for the finials. The front piece and the two side brackets on the base has also been nicely restored. Original painted dial with some small repair patches in the center area that are not well matched. Original hands and pendulum. Remains of original label on the back of the case. Ht 33 1/2"
