Condition Report For Lot# 673 :
(1) The rosewood and mahogany case has lost its original finish and the finish is rough with some veneer issues; The painted metal dial has some loss. The hands are original as are the weights. The upper glass is original and the lower tablet has been repainted black on the back side and fits well, but the design is 40 years later. The label is poor, but readable. (2) The rosewood veneered case has original finish which is worn and darkened. There is veneer damage in several areas. The splat and chimney caps are missing. The painted wooden dial is in good condition with slight darkening, The minute hand and weights are missing. The upper glass is original and the lower glass is missing. (3) The mahagony veneer case retains its original finish but has veneer chips at the corners, The painted wood dial is in very nice condition with minimal loss at the holding pins. The hands and weights are missing. The upper glass is original as is the bottom etched tablet which is worn. (4) The movement is unsigned. The backboard is new. There is significant veneer damage, The dial is not original to the case. The hands, weights and center tablet are missing.
