Condition Report For Lot# 779 :
Refinished rosewood veneered case in very nice condition with some very minor veneer loss on the base, a small piece missing on the door and a small repair on the upper left side. Decorative original painted dial with what looks to be a later varnish finish has some loss at the mounting screws, one of the winding arbors and couple of very small areas on the edge. Hands and table are original. Case houses a ribbed plate movement made by Brewster & Ingrahams. This clock was most likely made not long after the breakup of the firm in 1852 into Brewster Mfg. Co, and E. and A. Ingrahams. Ht 20"
