Condition Report For Lot# 627 :
the fancy case appears to have its original finish with some minor scuffs and scratches, minor loss to black accent around bezel. The glasses look old. The bezel shows a few age cracks. The paper dial is worn, lifting and has some minor edge tears; the printed calendar days and months are good. The two black hands are too short. There is a nice inside label with gold lettering. Gilbert avoided conflict with the Galusha-Maranville patent by changing the dials to card-stock, advanced with a small pointer inserted into holes, rather than the winding key advance on the Galusha metal dials.
