Condition Report For Lot# 72:
good running order (winds, sets and ticks), the movement is in very good condition with some minor spotting especially on plate bearing Howard signature. The original and very heavy 18K E.H. &Co. case is in very good condition with some light scuffing on plain polished rear cover and one small ding on case band. The dial is excellent with no hairlines and a tiny flake enlarging the hole around second's arbor. The gold bow and original umbrella hands are in great condition. This is an extremely fine and all original example of a very hard to find scarce model of an early Howard recently professionally serviced by the consignor and is a two star watch in Shugart, Engle and Gilbert's "The Complete Price Guide to Watches".
Estimate: $4000 - $6000
