Condition Report For Lot# 1035 :
this clock will need some restoration. Inside the case, all the arbors and uprights have been painted with red nail polish to cover a coating of rust [pinions and wheel teeth are Not painted], The dial suffered a bump that has resulted in the loss of several numerals, and the balance of the enamel with cracks and glue repairs. Bell is original; top nut home-made. The well made stand appears to be late 19th century, and has been carefully copied from an original, and with one trapezoidal panel that opens for winding. Note photo shows 2 small iron counter weights, however the large driving weights are here, just not in photo. Ht of clock only = 12" Overall with stand 42"
