Condition Report For Lot# 378:
What this mahogany case started out life to be is hard to determine. It is now fitted with a heavy plate fusee movement attached through the back plate. The upper section of the case has pieces added to deepen it to allow for this movement and bottom section has had a section cut out to allow for the pendulum. Very attractive frosted and cut glass panels. The dial surround is made up of old wood and has an attached dial that reads: ""DRY" Time Register." The pendulum rod has been repaired. This may have been a dial from some type time clock that used a battery and the "DRY" may refer to a dry cell battery. Overall this is an attractive time piece and could be kept as is or fitted with a different dial. Ht 34 1/2".
Estimate: $150 - $250
