DIAL: Scratch(es) minor to dial; Loss to blacking / enamel in numerals, very minor. HANDS: Excellent, possibly original gold minute and hour hands, good blued steel wind indicator hand, replaced seconds hand. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratch(es) or scuff(s) on plate. Movement very clean, with good color on blued steel parts. Gimbal latch present and functional. Twentieth century tag fastened to inside of box with instructions for corking balance. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running Order (winds, sets and ticks). The winding key fits, but is not original to this clock. The box has been refinished, and the lock may be replaced. Movement unusually oriented so that with the tub locked, the numeral twelve is at the front of the box.
