CASE: Ding(s) or pin prick(s), band; Has scratch(es) on outer surface of case, consistent with regular use; Scratch(es) on inner surface of case or cuvette; Gold filled with minor brassing; Minor chip(s) / scratch(es) or other defects on crystal; Bow replaced. DIAL: Hairline(s) in enamel, very light, at 6:00 and 6:30; Scratch(es) minor to dial, on seconds bit, also a few which can be seen with magnification under raking light. HANDS: Oxidation, tip and center of minute hand. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratch(es) or scuff(s) on plate. Jewel setting(s) marred, balance upper endstone, escape wheel upper endstone. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running Order (winds, sets and ticks). This is a very rare three star watch in Gilbert, Shugart and Engle's "The Complete Price Guide to Watches". A similar example in a 14K gold case sold for $11,000 in the sale of June of 2006 by Jones & Horan Auction Team.
