Condition Report For Lot# 198:
GRO (winds, sets and ticks well), the frosted mvt which strikes you immediately upon opening cuvette is in very good condition and would be perfect save for two scratches extending one from a case screw and one from third wheel jewel setting. The beautiful and elaborately decorated 18K case is very sharp with strong lift spring, tight hinges and light wear to ET and to chased and engraved shoulders and band and gold cuvette engraved "Sarah from Leverett Sept 14. '92". The dial is very attractive and in good condition with three almost unnoticeable hairlines at 10, 12 and between 3 & 4. The bow, crown, crystal and blued steel Breguet-style moon hands are all in excellent condition. It is unusual to see the Waltham American high grade distinction in a lady's watch and the gold escape wheel and Breguet hands are a nice touch. This item is in fantastic condition and very attractive.
