Condition Report For Lot# 149:
there is NO DIAL. The mvt is not running, fusee chain detached from barrel, the balance is free and seems that it might run if the chain were reattached. The mvt is in good condition with a few minor scratches and only very minor oxidation mostly on the upper plate. The original dust cover is in good condition. This is a very fine and complete mvt and in the hands of a restoration expert could be returned to its former glory. George Graham (b. 1674 - d. November 1751) was a preeminent English clock and watchmaker, inventor, and geophysicist who apprenticed under Thomas Tompion and is most famous for inventing the dead beat escapement.
