Condition Report For Lot# 113:
GRO (winds, sets and ticks well) mvt is in very good condition with some light spotting from dirt that looks like it would come off with routine cleaning and a few fine scratches near screw slots including one small X that appears to be made intentionally on the bottom plate. The 3 oz silver case is in good condition with slightly loosened hinges and showing average wear to the engraving typical of its age but with no dents nor dings and a great patina and a charming presentation in script on cuvette reading "Presented to Henry Nichols By John Nismith as a Token of Esteem Lowell Mch. 1857." The dial is excellent with no hairlines, some light staining from dirt that would also most likely be removed with cleaning and two extremely fine surface scratches near 3 and one near 7. The crystal, blued steel umbrella hands. bow and crown are all in good condition.
Estimate: $2000 - $3000
