Condition Report For Lot# 109:
GRO (winds, sets and ticks well) mvt is in very good condition with a very small and light dried oil stain, a slightly dusty and dirty coating on most surfaces and a very few microfine scratches and only one tiny spot of oxidation on one of the winding wheels. The original case with gold cuvette marked "E. HOWARD WATCH CO. BOSTON" is also in good condition with some moderate wear to the ET on the shoulder of the rear case cover and no dents, no dings nor major scratches. The dial is in good condition with two almost unnoticeable very light hairlines one in the second's bit and one outside of 9. The bow, crown, crystal and blued steel hands are all in very good condition. This is a nice example of a Howard Waltham a 2-star watch in the Shugart, Engle and Gilbert "WATCHES" price guide. Waltham made the mvt for Howard Keystone and a Waltham serial # is located under the dial.
Estimate: $1200 - $1500
