Condition Report For Lot# 104:
GRO (winds, sets and ticks well), the gilt mvt is excellent and bright with one fine scratch near case screw and a light coating of dirt and spotting that looks like it would lift off with a cleaning. The original Edward Hale case is in very good condition with all hinges tight, lift spring strong and with average wear to engraving with no dents and only two small dings on cuvette opposite to where diamonds are inset on rear cover, one small ding in rear case cover and a little marring near cover opening lip on band. The dial is excellent with only the tiniest flake hidden under the bezel near 2 and on other flaws. The crown has a 10% section missing exposing the brass underneath and should be replaced. The bow, crystal and hands are all in excellent condition. This is a another good example of E. Howard's unusual G-size and it is very unusual to see three good examples come to auction at once.
Estimate: $1000 - $1400
